Hello and welcome to the Class 6 page. Most of the information you require about Class 6 can be found here. There will also be regular updates on Class Dojo. If you have any questions or would like to know more, please just ask!

This half-term, our topic is Rivers. Here is an overview of what we’ll be exploring across all our subjects:

English – We’ll be reading The Rhythm of the Rain by Grahame Baker-Smith. The children will focus on writing a setting description.

Maths – We will be learning 2D and 3D Shape, Decimal Place Value, Calculation, Fractions, Statistics and Time.

Science – Our focus is Sound.

Geography – The children will be learning all about rivers with a focus on the River Nile.

RE – Our topic is Hindu Dharma. We will be learning about why family is an important part of Hindu life, religious duty, The Ramayana and Raksha Bandhan.

PE – We will be developing our skills in Athletics.

DT – Our unit is electrical systems. We will be learning about and creating torches.

PSHE – Our topic is 'Growing and Changing'.

Music – The children will be composing and improvising during our topic of Classical.

French - J'apprends le français I Am Learning French.
